Built the way a kids app should be
Not a checklist we tick at the end — the shape of the app. Here is exactly what Dinomy does with your family’s data, in plain words, and the things it will never do.
Apple’s Kids Category, by construction
No third-party ads or analytics SDKs, ever. No shop, no in-app currency, no timers, no lives, no streak pressure a child can see.
A grown-ups-only gate
Parent mode, settings, purchases and every outside link sit behind a hold-to-open or PIN gate. The child room has no back button and no way out but that gate.
Speech is checked, then discarded
Mic games are off unless you turn them on. When they’re on, the audio is used to check the answer and thrown away — never stored, never logged, never used for training.
Photos are used once, then deleted
A photo of a toy or drawing becomes a character in a single step. Never a photo of your child — we do not ask for one, and the AI never draws them.
You see it before your child does
Every new story lands in your review area first. Every creation is generated from your own words, filtered for age, and checked before and after it’s written.
Children never have accounts
Only a first name and an age band. Children never type, never sign in, never see a form. Nothing is shared between families.
Honest progress, never a score
No percentages. Unclear speech counts as practised, never wrong. Every number on your dashboard comes from something your child actually did.
Your data, your call
Delete a child profile or your account and its data goes with it. Changing or deleting a character never rewrites what you already made.
What we store — and what we never do
We store
Your email (via Sign in with Apple), your subscription and credit balance.
A first name, an age band, and the answers they gave in lessons — so progress can be honest.
The songs, stories, lessons and characters you made, so your child can play them again.
We never keep
Checked for the answer, then discarded on the spot.
Used for one generation, then deleted. Never a photo of your child.
Kept on your phone for the conversation, then gone. We store no transcript.
The full policy, in plain words too
Everything above, plus how to reach us and how to have your data removed. Questions go to support@dinomy.com and a person answers.
Be first when Dinomy lands on the App Store
One email when we launch. That’s it.
